“Currently,  the most expensive airport is Hong Kong International Airport, located on Chek Lap Kok island in (surprisingly enough) Hong Kong. With over 47 million travellers in 2007, HKIA is additionally one of the world’s most crowded airports. Passengers may fly in or outside via a number of airlines,  such as Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Express, Air Hong Kong and so many others with “Hong Kong” in their names. For its $20 billion building, the airport was awarded a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.”

Unfortunately for HKIA, it'll soon lose that place.
It shouldn’t shock anyone that the
new record-breaking aerotropolis is being built in Dubai. Dubai
World Central International, being constructed south of Dubai near
Jebel Ali, will cost $33 billion for its infrastructure alone. The
plans need an airfield that can accommodate current superjumbo
jets, hotels, shopping malls, two 18-hole golf courses and a
residential city that can house 750,000 people. Of course, this kind of
 project takes a lot of time to complete and DWC is no exception. It
isn’t expected to be functional until 2017.  By that time, yet another
 record-breaking airport project may be started.

The most expensive movie poster is a 1927 art-deco poster made to market the German sci-fi classic Metropolis by Fritz Lang. The poster was sold to a Californian collector Ken Schacter for USD 690,000 in 2005 by Andrew Cohen, a British business person and owner of the mail-order firm Betterware. The sepia-toned poster featuring the futuristic skyline with the face of the gynoid, Maschinenmensch,  was created by art-deco artist Heinz Schulz-Neudamm; a fitting representation of the most expensive silent film of its time. 3 copies of the equivalent poster are known to exist: one is currently stored at the Museum of Modern Art in New York; an additional in the Berlin's Film Museum and one belonging in a private collection. Most expensive store in the world BIJAN

“Who?” you could ask yourself.
Bijan Pakzad. He opened a store, called Bijan, on Rodeo Drive in 1976.  It has been the known as ‘the most expensive store in the world’,  catering to the wealthiest of the wealthy and carrying things like a $15,000 vicuña coat, a $120,000 chinchilla bedspread and a $65,000 crocodile-trimmed luggage set.
Now I know why I’d never heard of him. I mean, I’ve heard of a vicuña, however i couldn’t choose one out in a line-up and of course i didn’t understand you can find $15,000 coats made out of them. Turns out it’s basically a llama-type animal, however you can’t sell a coat for $15,000 and call it a ‘Llama Coat’.

The interior decor of his shop or store was estimated to cost over a million dollar (1000$) and the original cost of his signature cologne was $1,500 for 6 ounces. Not exactly I'd understand, but that sounds like about how much one might pay for the same quantity of street drugs.  You’ll probably recognize the bottle.

These are the types of prices i always frankly find it difficult to understand. I like to smell better, but could I ever imagine paying that much of money to do it and do it?
I crunched the numbers. With $1,500, I can buy 1,239 bars of the Dove soap I like. I can’t be sure, yet that might last me a time. It just might.
Bijan specialized in men’s wear – and marketing, apparently. He once designed a .38-caliber Colt automatic pistol made with 24-karat gold parts, for $10,000, for the require, he claimed “of the prominent men among my clientele for a protective weapon appropriate to their lifestyle.”
